Welcome to the Arnold’s Tour! Click on the left and right arrows to see everything that Arnold’s has to offer.
Our repair facility houses the most up–to–date equipment and technology available to repair your vehicle. Our technicians reside in 21,000 square feet of this space, and the office staff fills the other 6,000 square feet. All 27,000 square feet specifically designed to repair your vehicle right the first time, on time!
Even though we’ve been here since 1999, some of our customers still have a hard time finding the repair facility. You can see this sign from 35th Street, either east of Marquette or west of Harrison streets, by looking north on Vine Street.
Drop-Off / Reception Area
Welcome to our ‘family room!’ This is where you will receive an estimate, drop–off your vehicle for repairs and take delivery of it when we’re done.
Drop-Off / Reception Area
Our Reception and Estimating folks are here to make your stay comfortable, answer your questions and help process your repair paperwork. This is the first part of Arnold’s CARE!
This area of the building holds 4 vehicles with room left over. It’s where you will meet our lead estimator as he inspects your vehicle for damage prior to preparing the paperwork portion of the quote. This indoor facility also is one of our inspection areas.
A square and true foundation is the key element to a well–built house. Like the house, the structure of your vehicle is the key to a correct and safe repair.
This is the area where the structure or frame is ‘squared’ or repaired…and sometimes even replaced.
Many years ago, the term ‘body-work’ took place in this area of the facility. And, the same type of work still occurs now.
In today’s world, there is more replacement than repair of outer body panels because of cost and types of materials used other than steel. The technology used in the collision area is much more sophisticated today.
Talk about technology changing! Even though we still use humans to apply paint…that is about the only thing that has NOT changed in the past 8 years.
Our technicians spray in a downdraft, heated paint booth which is environmentally friendly using products that meet EPA standards.
One of the things that makes us different than other repair facilities is the reassembly area.
Away from the collision area, the noise and distractions, the technician that started your repair concentrates on putting things back together.
The reassembly of your vehicle takes a different twist here. We put back your existing mechanical parts, install new ones from the collision damage and do whatever is necessary to those parts to make them operational again. This is also where your glass and special effects items are reinstalled.
Your vehicle is close to being completed once the folks in the detail department take charge of it. This is where every detail of your repair is checked again…and thoroughly cleaned.
